Over the last 3 days all the concrete has been poured. Garage slab sits on a lattice of concrete beams which in turn sits a number of piers.

Next thing to happen will be the posts getting bolted down with the floor and the frame soon after.

After a couple of weeks of inactivity, the last 2 weeks have seen the block cleared, a pad built up for the garage, all underground conduits and pipes done, sewer connected and finally, trenches dug and steel laid ready for concrete next week!

Ready to start

Small but important piece of progress - plans have been through council and approved! A small change was required at the back of the house to clear the sewer connection point. Master bedroom was reduced by 600mm, as was the upstairs living room and deck of the side of the bedroom.

Earthworks should start in a couple of weeks but we did have the permanent power pole installed on Friday.
